The Gregory P. St. Amand Memorial benefits art, music, and scout/nature projects for local youth in honor of Greg’s expressed desire to mentor creativity and nature appreciation in young people.
Each year, the memorial grants thousands of dollars to local (Manhattan, KS) nonprofit programs benefiting youth.
Grant applications are accepted in February. We encourage local (Manhattan, KS) nonprofit programs meeting the memorial’s mission to apply for a grant.
Our grant opportunities grow each year thanks to your donations and to the good management of our fund by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation.
Our goal is to help local youth participate in life-enriching experiences regardless of ability to pay. A memorial grant is typically earmarked for scholarships. Program development is also considered.
